Our future target is to serve around 100 individual connection for the on-line lecture using such system. As future work, we will develop an embedded automated authoring tool system within the e-Meeting system to record the on-line lecture events such as presenter video and on-line slides presentation with annotation, to be stored and used as e-Learning multimedia content. Such depth sensing devices are often mounted with color cameras in practical applications, creating color-depth data (referred to as RGB-D data hereafter). RGB-D data provide a more comprehensive description of the captured scene by providing 3D geometry information in addition to the texture information. Therefore, depth cameras have been successfully used in many fields such as object recognition [1], scene analysis [2,3], and 3-D reconstruction [4,5]. In many such applications, segmentation is required to separate interested regions or objects to facilitate the subsequent processing.
